With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the particulars requested by the Deputy in so far as they are available. The Official Import List under which imported goods are classified for statistical purposes does not provide separate headings for all types of floor covering. In particular plates and sheets of rubber and plastic which can be used for floor coverings merely by cutting without further working are not separately distinguished from such plates or sheets for other purposes.
