asked the Minister for Agriculture the functions of An Bord Gráin, and the names and salaries of the directors of An Bord.

The present statutory functions of the Board are: to deal with any surplus of millable wheat, to purchase and sell homegrown barley and feed wheat and to import and sell grain sorghums, maize, feed wheat and feed barley in such quantities as may be agreed between the Board and the Minister for Agriculture.

A sum of £325 per annum is paid to the Chairman of the Board and £200 per annum to each of the ordinary members.

The following are the members of the Board:— Thomas R. McCartney, Chairman; Frank L. Jacob, Thomas A. Kavanagh, James Moynihan, James Mullins, John O'Neill, Robert G. Patton, John Richards-Orpen, Arthur S. Whitehead.
