Vol. 216 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mobile Ambulance Respiratory Equipment.

59.

asked the Minister for Health the number of counties equipped with mobile ambulance respiratory equipment; and when he expects to have all areas fully equipped.

Mr. O'Malley

Health authorities have been urged by my Department to provide full resuscitation equipment for ambulances normally used on accident calls and to have the crews trained in the use of this equipment. Returns which have been received from health authorities in my Department following these recommendations indicate that they have been acted upon and that all authorities have ambulances so equipped.
