Vol. 216 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limited Medical Cards.

60.

asked the Minister for Health the number of limited medical cards issued by each health authority in the year 1964 in accordance with Circular 36/61 regarding drugs and medicines.

Mr. O'Malley

I presume the Deputy's question refers to the number of persons supplied with drugs and medicines, free of charge, by health authorities, during the year ended 31st December, 1964, under section 14 of the Health Act, 1953, in cases of hardship where the persons concerned were not covered by general medical services cards.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, a Cheann Comhairle, with your permission, to circulate it with the Official Report.
