asked the Minister for Finance the total money advanced by the commercial banks to (a) borrowers, and (b) State borrowers as at (i) 31st December, 1963, (ii) 31st December, 1964, and (iii) the latest date available.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.
