Vol. 216 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unclaimed War Damage Money.

42.

asked the Minister for Justice the amount of unclaimed money lodged in court in respect of property damaged by bombing during the last World War.

An exhaustive examination of the records of the High Court and the Circuit Court would be necessary to supply the information sought by the Deputy. This would involve an undue expenditure of public time which I am satisfied would not be justified. Certain particulars of unclaimed funds in both courts are published periodically in Iris Oifigiúil pursuant to Rules of Court Interested parties may be given information respecting any particular fund on application to the appropriate court officer.
