asked the Minister for Agriculture the number of farmers in County Westmeath (a) under £20 poor law valuation, (b) between £20 to £40 poor law valuation, (c) between £40 to £60 poor law valuation, (d) between £60 to £100 poor law valuation and (e) over £100 poor law valuation who received grants under the heifer scheme; and the amounts paid under these headings.

I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 79 and 80 together.

The records kept in my Department under the scheme do not include particulars of the poor law valuation of applicants' holdings. It is, therefore, not possible to furnish the information requested.
