Vol. 217 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Water and Sewerage Schemes.

17.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received plans for the Turnapin, Cloghran and Newtown, Coolock water and sewerage schemes in County Dublin and for a water scheme for Nangor Road, Clondalkin; and, if so, if he will sanction them, as the Dublin County Council are anxious to commence work.

I have already approved of the schemes in question.

Does the Minister not know that Deputy Burke already knows the answers to these questions and that he is asking them merely to take credit for something accomplished by reason of work done by other people?

At least, there is this to be said for him, that he differs somewhat from Deputy Clinton's colleagues in that they ask questions about things of which they should know but which they do not know.

I am sorry if I have upset Deputy Clinton.
