I approved of contract documents for water supply extensions to serve, inter alia, Bunacurry and Saulia areas on 26th March, 1965. Detailed plans for further extensions, which include provision for the Valley area are at present being examined by my technical advisers. I hope to convey a decision thereon to Mayo County Council shortly. I am not in a position to state when work on these extensions will commence.
