Vol. 217 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork School.

8.

asked the Minister for Finance what is the present position regarding the erection of a new school at Goggins' Hill, Ballinhassig, County Cork; when it is expected that work will begin on this school; and when it will be completed.

A grant towards the cost of erecting this school was sanctioned by the Department of Education on 8th June, 1965. It will be some time before the working drawings and specification are ready and a contract placed. I cannot say at this stage when work on the new building will commence or when it will be completed.
