Vol. 217 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Old Dwellings.

11.

asked the Minister for Local Government if there are any proposals before him to demolish and rebuild old dwellings such as Keogh Square and Hollyfield Buildings; and if he will indicate Dublin Corporation's policy in regard to these old dwellings.

There are no such proposals before my Department. I understand that it is the intention of the corporation to replace all substandard housing accommodation in their estate according as the improvement in the general housing situation permits them to do so.
