Vol. 217 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Marking of One-Way Streets.

38.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will extend the system of marking the streets, as they are marked in Westland Row, to the rest of the one-way streets in Dublin city in order to ensure that drivers will drive in particular lanes.

Road authorities have been advised by me as to the road marking to be used to indicate traffic lanes, and Dublin Corporation have been urged to extend the use of such markings as far as practicable. The provision of the markings is a matter for the corporation acting with the consent or at the request of the Garda Síochána.
