Vol. 217 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - River Dodder Pollution.

47.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received any complaints concerning the pollution of the River Dodder near Firhouse, Tallaght, County Dublin; and, if so, what action he proposes to take to remedy the situation.

I have received no such complaints. I understand that about two years ago complaints were made to Dublin County Council regarding discharge from a factory above Firhouse, but that consequent on treatment being provided by the factory there have been no further complaints.
