Vol. 218 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Waterford-Fishguard Service.

24.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power whether the attitude of the Waterford Harbour Commissioners towards the proposed agreement with the British Transport Commission is likely to deter the Commission from introducing the proposed new vessel on the Waterford/ Fishguard run, to lead to a loss of traffic on this route to the detriment of users on the route, to affect the future of the personnel at Adelphi Wharf, Waterford, and to result in possible loss of the service.

I am not aware of any difficulties regarding the introduction by British Rail of a new vessel on the Waterford/Fishguard service.
