Vol. 218 No. 1

Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (Charter Amendment) Bill, 1965: Joint Committee.

Seanad Éireann has passed the following Resolution in which the concurrence of Dáil Éireann is desired:

That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (Charter Amendment) Bill, 1965, being a Bill entitled an Act to amend the Charter under which the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland is incorporated so as to alter the provisions of the Charter in relation to admission to fellowship, the annual general meeting and the appointment of the council and secretary of the Institute and to confer power on the Institute to grant or join with similar bodies in granting diplomas, certificates and awards and for other purposes relating to the Institute.

I move:

That Dáil Éireann concurs with Seanad Éireann in its Resolution communicated to Dáil Éireann on 4th day of August, 1965, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (Charter Amendment) Bill, 1965.
