The information requested is as follows:—
(a) Main St., Abbeyleix; Sarsfield St., Mountmellick; Railway St., Portlaoise; Moore St., Rathdowney, and Newtown Cross Road, The Swan.
(b) Main St., Ballycumber, and Main St., Bracknagh. A new kiosk is also planned for Cloghan but its location has not yet been selected.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if in the present financial year any new letterboxes are to be erected in Laois-Offaly; if so, when and where; if he has any proposals for the erection of new letterboxes for the coming year: and, if so, in what areas.
There are no proposals for the erection of additional letterboxes in the area in question as the existing postal facilities are regarded as adequate. Requests for additional facilities are considered on their merits.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the location and cost of the twenty new separate compartments letterboxes to be erected in Dublin.
The boxes will be erected at Westmoreland Street. Ballast Office, Fleet Street, Nassau Street, Dawson Street, College Green, South Great George's Street, Tara Street, St. Stephen's Green, North, St. Stephen's Green, West, Merrion Row, Pearse Street, Lr. O'Connell Street, Upper O'Connell Street. Gardiner's Row, Lr. Gardiner Street, Moore Lane, Mary Street, Bachelor's Walk and Liberty Hall.
The boxes are being supplied under contract and it would be contrary to established practice to disclose the cost.
