The Tipperary (North Riding) Vocational Education Committee have asked the Local Appointments Commissioners to recommend to them a person for appointment as chief executive officer. I understand that the competition in connection with the filling of the post has been held recently and that the Commissioners will take all possible steps to expedite the making of a recommendation to the vocational education committee in the matter of the filling of the vacancy.
