As regards the first part of the question, the practice has been for Cork Corporation to obtain each year from the Local Loans Fund, such a sum as, with moneys borrowed by the corporation from other sources, would enable them to carry out their housing programme. The actual amounts received by the Corporation in each year since 1955 are given in the form of a tabular statement which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.
