I am satisfied that the grant of £20 per acre is reasonable by reference to present level of costs and no increase is contemplated.
When was that grant fixed?
It was fixed in 1959. It was increased from £10 to £20 in 1959.
Does the Parliamentary Secretary not think it time that at least another £5 should go on to that?
It is considered that the increase covers subsequent increases in planting costs.
