30.

asked the Minister for Local Government when Dublin County Council intend to repair all footpaths in need of repair in the area of the Perrystown Manor Estates, Terenure, Dublin; and the total amount of money required for this essential work.

Questions Nos. 28, 29 and 30 are all related to the Perrystown Manor estates, Terenure, and therefore with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take them together.

I am not aware that the grass island fronting the shops at Mountdown has been a cause of a number of minor accidents. I understand that Dublin County Council, as the road authority involved, have no proposal under consideration for removing the island.

I understand that the council have proposals under consideration for the provision of ten additional lights in the estates.

I am informed that, apart from normal maintenance, a sum of £500 is being provided by the council in the current year for repairs of an exceptional nature to the footpaths in the area.
