The consultant's preliminary report on this scheme has not as yet been submitted to my Department. I understand that the question of a new method of treatment is being investigated which may effect economies in the original proposals furnished to Galway County Council by their consulting engineer.
I am not in a position to state when work will commence on this scheme.
