Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Telephone Exchange.

68.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the telephone exchange which serves subscribers on Harold's Cross Road, Dublin; the number of spare lines in it; and when an additional underground cable will be provided to serve applicant subscribers on that road.

Subscribers on the road in question are served from Terenure and Rathmines automatic exchanges. There are 1,150 spare subscriber terminations at the former and 2,300 at the latter exchange.

Additional underground cabling for the area is expected to be completed within six months.
