Vol. 218 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Routing of Wexford Roads.

31.

asked the Minister for Local Government if any plans have been submitted to him by Wexford County Council for the rerouting of the Enniscorthy-New Ross or the Enniscorthy-Wexford roads, bypassing the town of Enniscorthy.

No such plans have been submitted to my Department.

Could the Minister explain how you could by-pass Enniscorthy on roads leading from Enniscorthy to New Ross or from Enniscorthy to Wexford? You would not be going to Enniscorthy at all if you were by-passing it.

That is not what I was asked.

I know that. I do not understand how in those circumstances you could by-pass Enniscorthy.
