Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Widows of Army Pensioners.

33.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he will consider amending the Army Pensions Acts to provide for the granting of an allowance to the widow of a disablement pensioner who was in receipt of a pension under the Acts based on a degree of disablement of 50 per cent or more, irrespective of the cause of his death.

I have under consideration the question of amending the Army Pensions Acts on the lines mentioned by the Deputy.
