Vol. 218 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Condition of Carlow River.

25.

asked the Minister for Local Government what action has been taken on complaints sent to his Department concerning the insanitary and filthy condition of the River Burrin in the Kennedy Street area of Carlow Town.

I asked the sanitary authority to investigate complaints about the alleged insanitary condition of the River Burrin in the Kennedy Street area of Carlow town and a recent report indicates that when these complaints were investigated by the County Medical Officer, no nuisance was found to exist.
