Vol. 219 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Flooding.

20.

asked the Minister for Finance if in view of the flooding which occurs with monotonous regularity in the district of Cullen, County Tipperary, he will have a relief drainage scheme carried out on the canal, and so restore valuable land to full productivity.

The district of Cullen is in the Mulkear catchment area and it will be considered by the Commissioners of Public Works for inclusion in the arterial drainage scheme being prepared for that catchment under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945.
