asked the Minister for Education what is the position regarding the erection of a school at Toureenard, Knocknagoshel, County Kerry for which a grant has been approved and a site has been available for some time.

My Department is at present investigating as a matter of urgency the question of how primary school facilities can best be provided for the pupils of the Toureenard school and the other three schools in the parish of Knocknagoshel, County Kerry.

Pending the completion of the investigation the arrangements for the provision of the school at Toureenard have been suspended.

The Manager will be communicated with as soon as a decision has been taken.
