Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Swords (Dublin) Open Space.

31.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will recommend to Dublin County Council the use of the open space at Seatown, Swords, which is the Council's property, for the building of urgently needed houses for some of the very large number of families in this area who are compelled, by reason of the grave housing shortage, to endure most distressing living conditions.

The matter would be one for the county council in the first instance. I understand that the possibility of acquiring further sites for housing in the Swords area is being investigated by the county council.
