Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Schools.

70.

asked the Minister for Education the present position of the proposal to erect a new school at Listellier, Tralee, County Kerry.

I wish to refer the Deputy to my reply to his question regarding this school on 1st December, 1965. There has been no change in the position since then. My Department is, however, taking steps to try to speed up the matter of the title to the site.

71.

asked the Minister for Education the present position of the proposal to erect a new national school at Currans, Faranfore, County Kerry.

A full investigation is being carried out with a view to determining the most suitable arrangement for the provision of primary education facilities for the children of the Currans school district. Pending the result of this investigation, further consideration of the question of erecting a new two-room school at Currans has been deferred.
