Vol. 221 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Demolition of Clonmel Houses.

39.

asked the Minister for Local Government if any steps are being taken to demolish the old houses in College Street, Clonmel, County Tipperary, from which families have been rehoused by the corporation, as these houses are a danger, especially to children.

The houses to which the Deputy refers are included in a Compulsory Purchase Order which was made by Clonmel Corporation for the purposes of the Housing of the Working Classes Acts. The Order was confirmed by me on 22nd February, 1966.
