Vol. 223 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wet Time Benefit.

30.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare the number of workers in each of the last five years who received wet-time benefit; the average number of hours per worker in each year in respect of which benefit was paid; and the total annual cost thereof.

The information sought in the first and second parts of the question is not available. The reply to the third part takes the form of a tabular statement which I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:

1965

NOTE: Rates of benefit were increased in August, 1963.
