Vol. 224 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kilmore Quay (Wexford) Improvements.

6.

asked the Minister for Finance what is the latest position regarding the proposed improvements to Kilmore Quay, County Wexford.

As I told the Deputy in reply to his questions on 1st February last, consideration of this scheme had to be deferred because of the general financial stringency. There has been no change in the position since then.

Is it right to be going around the west of Ireland predicting to the people that they will get such improvements?

I do not see any relationship.

The Minister for Agriculture did it last week.

He took care to be photographed.

He is a good man for getting on TV and in the papers.
