Vol. 224 No. 3

Ceisteanna — Questions Oral Answers. - Kerry School Transport.

40.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that a number of children, who previously attended Killeenagh national school, Inch, Annascaul, County Kerry, now closed, have not been to school since 1st July, last as a protest against the inadequate transport provided to take them to the new school at Tibough, Castlemaine; and if so, if he will now state what steps his Department are taking to remedy the position and to have the necessary transport provided.

This matter has been investigated. I am satisfied that, when the arrangements which are in train are finalised, any cause for complaint, which the children in question may have had will be removed.
