Vol. 224 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Market Tolls.

19.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has yet completed his investigation into the question of the collection of tolls by Limerick Market Trustees; and, if so, if he can now furnish any additional information on the matter.

Further inquiries since the Deputy's question of the 30th June, 1966 on this subject indicate that the tolls are being levied in accordance with section 3 of the Limerick Markets Act, 1921. This Act provides for increases in the tolls leviable under the Limerick Markets Act, 1872.

I am arranging to send the Deputy copies of the relevant extracts from the Acts mentioned together with a list of the names and addresses of the trustees as supplied to me.
