Vol. 224 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

14.

asked the Minister for Local Government when he expects to give final sanction for the Listowel water supply improvement scheme, County Kerry.

Revised contract documents for this scheme were received in my Department on 24th instant and are at present under examination.

15.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the cause of the delay in his Department's giving sanction to the carrying out of a water scheme at Kildinan, County Cork, contract documents for which have been with his Department since 22nd October, 1965.

Contract documents for the scheme to which the Deputy refers are still under consideration in my Department. I am not in a position to say when a decision thereon is likely to issue.

16.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the present position in regard to a piped water supply for Modeligo, County Waterford; and what progress has been made since his last reply on the matter.

No proposals have yet been submitted to my Department in this matter.

17.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether there are any plans before his Department for the provision of a sewerage scheme for numbers 1 to 18 Daleview, Ballybrack, County Dublin; and, if so, if he can state when work on this scheme will commence.

No proposals have been received in my Department for the provision of a sewerage scheme for houses at Daleview, Ballybrack, County Dublin.

18.

asked the Minister for Local Government when he expects to sanction the raising of a supplementary loan of £650 to defray expenditure on the extension of the sewer at Ballygologue, County Kerry.

I hope to be in a position to convey a decision on this loan application shortly.
