andMrs. Lemass asked the Minister for Finance if he will ensure that before the construction work on the Wood Quay site will be extended to the small portion of the civic offices site which still remains to be excavated, adequate time will be given to the National Museum for archaeological excavation by the corporation.

Discussions are taking place between the Commissioners of Public Works, Dublin Corporation, and the National Museum regarding arrangements for the archaeological excavation of that portion of the Wood Quay site which has not yet been fully excavated and which will be affected by the erection of the civic offices.
