The original Conditions of Employment Acts and the Shops (Conditions of Employment) Acts were passed in 1936 and 1938 respectively. I have already announced that I am drawing up a programme for a revision of measures which have been on the Statute Book for a considerable number of years. I shall certainly consider the Deputy's suggestion in relation to this revision.
Might I draw the Deputy's attention to the Statutory Instrument entitled "Conditions of Employment (Prescribed Abstract) Regulations, 1964", which gives the provisions of the Conditions of Employment Acts, 1936 and 1944.
