Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Jurors Lists.

87.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the remarks of a High Court judge on the many defects in the present Dublin jurors lists; and if, having regard to the fact that the lists are prepared by local authorities upon the basis of information contained in the electors lists, he will have steps taken to improve the method of compiling these lists to ensure greater accuracy.

My attention has been drawn to the remarks referred to. The question of methods of improving the accuracy of the jurors lists is under discussion between officers of my Department and of the Department of Justice.
