Vol. 225 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Forestry Lands.

44.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that a person (name supplied) in Killarney sold 1,494 acres of land to the Forestry Branch of his Department in 1961; and that this land is still idle while there are 12 unemployed men in the immediate vicinity who could be employed on it; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It will be necessary to improve the access to these lands to enable development to proceed satisfactorily. The provision of improved access is receiving attention in my Department.
