Vol. 225 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Agricultural Credit Corporation Loans.

59.

asked the Minister for Finance the number of farmers in South Tipperary and West Waterford who have been (a) granted and (b) refused loans by the Agricultural Credit Corporation in each of the past five years.

I have been informed by the Agricultural Credit Corporation that it is not possible to furnish the information requested. The Corporation does not keep statistics of loans granted or refused by reference to the areas of residence of the applicants and it would involve an inordinate amount of work and cost to compile the information.
