I am informed by CIE that the Board has made every effort to interest Irish manufacturers in the printing of bus scrolls. Due to absence of quotations from Irish firms, it has been necessary to have scrolls printed in Britain. Recently, the Board succeeded in obtaining a quotation from one out of six Irish firms approached after consultation with the Irish Printing Federation but unfortunately, that firm's quotation was too high by a substantial margin.
