Vol. 225 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Waterford Estate.

24.

asked the Minister for Lands what is the present position regarding the acquisition and division of the Linneen estate, Glounthane, Lismore, County Waterford, for the relief of congestion in the district; whether the owner of this estate has yet been paid for it by the Land Commission; and, if not, if he will expedite such payment.

Proceedings were recently instituted by the Land Commission for the acquisition of this 48 acre holding but it is still too early to indicate what the outcome will be. As of now the matter of price has not been reached at all.
