Vol. 225 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Lighting of Dublin Roads.

13.

Mr. O'Leary

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that several streets in the East Wall area of Dublin are badly lighted, notably Bargy Road and Caledon Road; and whether there are any plans to improve the position.

The improvement of public lighting in the streets mentioned by the Deputy is a matter for Dublin Corporation. I understand that the corporation have a comprehensive programme on hands for the improvement of public lighting on such streets and that the two roads mentioned are scheduled for improvement in due course under that programme.
