45.

asked the Minister for Lands the number of men employed at each of the State forests in Laois-Offaly at 31st March of each year for the past five years; and the number employed in the same forests on the 1st February, 1967.

Ballyfin and Camross Forests have been created with effect from 27th January, 1967 from units of existing forests in Laois and Offaly.

Up to and at 31st March, 1963 Roscrea Forest was regarded as being in County Tipperary. Employment at the Forest in March, 1962 and March, 1963 was 47 and 51 men respectively.
