Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Installation of Telephones.

12.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone installations will be provided in Emly, County Tipperary for persons (names supplied).

All applicants in the area have been offered service and may expect installation within the next few months.

13.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (a) the number of applications for telephone installations from the city and county of Kilkenny at present awaiting attention, and (b) the number of applications outstanding for over 12 months.

The numbers are: (a), 190; and (b), 60.

About 85 of these, including nearly all those outstanding over a year, will be attended to within the next few months.
