Vol. 226 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laois Lands.

19.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission propose to divide the lands formerly owned by Mrs. Mulcahy at Ballyadams, County Laois amongst local people; and, if so, when such a division will take place.

This 90 acre property came into the possession of the Land Commission last year but pending completion of the necessary inquiries on the ground, it is not possible to forecast just now when the scheme of division will be prepared or what form it will take. The claims of all deserving local applicants will be fully considered by the Land Commission in connection with the disposal of the lands.
