Vol. 226 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Radioactive Fallout Handbook.

26.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will consider making available at post offices a home protection handbook so that householders, employers, etc., who desire to do so will be able to take effective and adequate measures against radioactive fallout.

At the end of May, 1965, almost 700,000 copies of the booklet "Survival in a Nuclear War: Advice on Protection in the Home and on the Farm" were delivered by the postal authorities to householders throughout the country.

Persons seeking copies of the booklet now will get them from my Department on application.

Is there a price or are these booklets free?

They are free.
