asked the Minister for Finance if he will give particulars of excise revenue collection for 1965-66 and 1966-67 in the form of the reply to Question No. 123 of 8th March, 1966.

Estimates of excise revenue receipts for the current financial year are at present being prepared in connection with the forthcoming Budget and are not yet available. If the Deputy repeats the question after Easter, I expect then to be in a position to furnish figures for 1966-67.

Following are the particulars requested in respect of the financial year 1965-66:
