Vol. 227 No. 5

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1 and 8 — (Vote 38); Private Members' Business will be taken from 6 to 7.30 p.m. and Questions at 2.30 p.m.

If it so happened that business was finished before 6 p.m., what would happen to Private Members' Business?

I understand that there was a suggestion last evening that if it was not reached, or if the House adjourned before Private Members' Time commenced, Private Members' Business would be left over. I do not know if that was agreed.

Could the Taoiseach say the date of resumption?

Wednesday, 5th April.

It is clear that, although it is expected to finish early, all business will be disposed of today?

There are only two items of public business and Questions and Private Members' Business but it is hoped that certainly No. 8 will be finished today.

It has been agreed to sit late in order to finish.

The NFA strike is over.

If it is suggested that the House should sit later than 10.30 p.m. or if it appears to be necessary, a motion will be moved.

That is putting it in order now.
