Vol. 227 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Moy Drainage Scheme.

29.

asked the Minister for Finance (a) the total cost of the River Moy drainage up to 31st March, 1967; (b) the estimated amount yet to be expended on the scheme; and (c) when the work may be completed.

The cost of the Moy drainage scheme up to 31st March, 1967, was £3,750,000 approximately.

The amount yet to be expended on the scheme is difficult to estimate at this stage as decisions have yet to be taken on a large number of applications for additional drains, but it may be about £1,200,000.

It is expected that the scheme will be completed early in 1970.
